Create Snapchat Stories

Snapchat allows you to create stories on daily basis. The stories that you create are available and visible to your friends for up to 24 hours.

At the time of this writing, your friends can view your stories just once. Your stories are available for your viewing for unlimited number of times but only for 24 hours after their creation.

Here is how you can create your Snapchat stories:

■Turn on your Android phone.
■Tap the menu icon to go to the apps list.



■Locate and tap the Snapchat app icon to launch the app.



■If you are not already logged in, provide your credentials in the appropriate fields and tap the LOG IN button.



■On the next interface, click the center circle button from the bottom to take a snap.
Note: You can switch between Rear or Front cameras by tapping the camera icon available at the top-right corner.
■Alternatively, if you want to make a video, tap and hold the center circle button as long as you want to shoot the video.



■Once the snap is taken (or video is recorded), you can use multiple tools provided by Snapchat to edit your picture.
Note: Follow the instructions given in Section-II to use those tools.
■After you have edited snap as desired, click the Add to Your Story icon (third icon from bottom-left corner).
■On the Add to Your Story popup box, click Add.
■Optionally, you can also check the Never show again checkbox if you want Snapchat to automatically add the snaps to your story in future.

Here’s how to use provided tools to edit your picture:

■Click the timer icon (clock icon) from the bottom-left corner and select the time duration for a story to last.
■Click the down arrow icon with a horizontal base line to save a picture to your phone gallery.
■In order to edit a snap, click the pen icon located at the top-right corner.
■Click the arrow icon from the bottom-right corner to forward the picture to the recipients.
■To add the caption, tap anywhere on the screen and start typing the text.
■Click the cross icon from the top-left corner to delete the picture.
