The level Irate Eight is a mystery as we don’t know why the Eight is Irate. Anyways, you will go through a lot of obstacles in this level including exploding mines and giant octopus with tentacles to attack you. If you want to grab all puzzle pieces on your way, then follow the guide below:
Puzzle Piece #1:
Getting this puzzle piece in Irate Eight is not challenging at all. You can find this puzzle piece at the start of the level. All you have to do is to grab the vine before you go swimming in the water and then climb the vine. At the top of that vine, you will see a secret room. Go into the secret room and then you will see a lot of bananas. Collect all of the bananas but make sure to get them all in 30 seconds and once you are done, you will see the first piece of the puzzle.
Puzzle Piece #2:
Now come out, slide down the vine and start the level by starting to swim. Make your way by dodging the floating mines as they can explode if you get near to them. Down to your path, you will come across chains that will block your path. You need to dash through the middle one to break the links. Now grab the Kong buddy and keep going, and you will see four mines, activate one mine and then swim away, once the mines explode, swim up in the rock above where the mines were placed and you will get inside the hidden cove. Grab all banana bunches and you will reveal the second puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #3:
Once you get to the first checkpoint, swim along, and you will find Dixie barrel. Release him and it will help you swim faster. While going forward, you will be chased by a giant octopus. Swim upwards to remain on the screen. Make sure to avoid the tentacles as they will block your ascent. Right after you break through the chain, go to the right side. There will be a hidden cove there, go in it and you will get the third puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #4:
Keep playing the game and you will come across another checkpoint pig. Keep going forward while dodging the tentacles. Grab a Kong buddy in the Kong barrel if you have lost one and just past the Kong barrel, you will see a hole in the ceiling that will have an orange glow. Go inside passing the tentacle and you will enter a secret room. Collect all bananas in there and you will get the fourth puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece #5:
Keep on moving and you will come across another checkpoint pig, go past that to enter the final phase of the level. Once you blast through the wall, the chase will start again. Keep moving and then go past the chain and avoid the falling pieces of rock. Soon you will be again attacked by the tentacles. Just past the pair that quickly goes in and comes out, there is a hidden cove at the right side on the horizontal wall. Go above the top tentacle and get inside the hidden cove and grab the final puzzle piece.
This is all there is to know if you want to collect all the puzzle pieces. Just make sure to avoid getting smashed by the giant tentacles of the octopus.
