Almost every location in Fortnite Battle Royale contains a decent amount of chests, but the main thing is in knowing where to find those chests. This is the reason that a lot of players do not get much loot and in the result, they get killed either at the start or in the middle of the game. Same is with Shifty Shafts, an area in Fortnite Battle Royale that is located at the south-west corner of the map. It is a mine shaft location and can be located between the Greasy Grove and the Salty Springs. Shifty Shafts is usually a quiet area to land because there is not much to get if you are not aware of the exact spots for loot. Anyways, there are about 12 chests in the area. And this guide will help you find the exact locations of the chests. So without further ado, let’s get started:
Area 1:
The area that is marked as number 1 on the map is the main part of the Shifty Shafts and is a mining area. You can get up to seven chests in this location. The area is very complex, and that’s why you may have to spend a little time in finding the chests on your first time. But once you find the chests then you will not face any problems in finding the chests after that. You will find half of the chests above the ground and the other half chests will be located below in the mines. Some more chests in this area can be found inside back of a truck and in roof pieces of the small buildings.
Area 2:
The second location marked as number 2 on the map has two buildings. One is a large structure like a shack and the other is a house. You can get two chests in this area. The first chest will be located on the roof section of the house. And the second chest will also be located at the roof section of the shack-like structure. These chests are isolated from the shifty shafts so you may get the chests before entering the main area.
Area 3:
The third location marked as number 3 on the map has two locations. This is because there are three chests distributed in these two areas and both are on the mountains, so it was logical to mark both of them as number 3. The first chest can be located at the top of the mountain that is at the west of shifty shafts. You can the remaining two chests at the south of mines. These chests are at the top of the mountain sitting on the grass around trees.
These are all the locations containing chests the Shifty Shafts. You may face some resistance in finding the chests at the first try because this area is very complex but once you find all the chests, it will get easier for you to find the chests again.
