With each update Epic introduce something new to the game and the clinger grenade is also a result of an update.
The grenade is best to use in sticky situations (Pun Intended) or in times when you want to overpower the enemy.

Use from a Close Distance:
If you really want the grenade to stick to the enemy then it is suggested that you use if from a close distance. This is because many grenades bounce before they explode but this one doesn’t because it is a sticking grenade to it sticks to the surface it hits. Therefore, if you even miss the throw from an inch you will not be able to deliver damage to the enemy. So what you need to do is to go near the enemy as close as possible and then throw it at them to make sure it sticks to them.
Throw at the Feet:
If you want to know in which direction the enemy will go after you throw the grenade on him, then try to throw it at his feet. This way, when the enemy will see a grenade coming, he will retreat in a certain direction. You can quickly start shooting at that direction before he reaches there so he will start to get the damage from your fire as soon as he gets there and you will definitely have the upper hand as he will not only get damage from the grenade but from your shots as well.
Trap the Enemy:
Another best use of the clinger grenade is of trapping the enemies. You can trap them in two ways; the first one is that if you see an enemy coming towards you, you can take out the clinger grenade and place it in the way of your enemy. This way he will run directly into the grenade. Secondly, you can make an enemy chase you and then go into a building and put the clinger grenade where you think the enemy will be coming from. Once he comes in, he will be welcomed by an explosion.
Can Destroy Some Structures:
The best thing about the clinger grenade is that it can sometimes destroy some structures. You can use it to destroy certain platforms that would’ve not been destroyed with a common grenade. Also, you can use it to make a hole in the fortress as well. You can combine the clinger grenade and stink bomb to flush out enemies from a fortress. You can do this by first making a hole in a fortress and then throwing the stink bomb through that hole. The enemies will be compelled to come out of their base.
