How to Get Blazing Speed in Bejeweled Blitz

In Bejeweled Blitz, your goal is to match as many gems of the same color as quickly as you can, since you only have 1 minute to score as much as possible. There must be a match of three or more of the same color gem in order to make a match. If you really want to boost your score, go for the Blazing Speed bonus. The following tutorial will teach you how to get there.

1. Opening the app- Tap the Bejeweled Blitz icon on your mobile device to open up the game.

2. Play- Tap the play button to begin your round. You only have one minute, so make it count.

3. Matching- You will have to make matches of 3 or more gems of the same color. You make matches by sliding a gem to line up with 2 or more of the same gem. You can move up, down, left, and right.

4. Speed- You must make your matches very quickly, so your eyes must be very quick and your fingers even quicker.

5. Getting Blazing Speed- It will take 25 matches in order to activate Blazing Speed. Again, these matches must be made in quick succession to keep your streak going. Should you accomplish this, you will get the Blazing Speed bonus, a period of 5 seconds where the timer is frozen and point values are increased for each successive match.
