How to Install Games from the Amazon Appstore on Android Devices

The Amazon Appstore gives you access to some of the best mobile games in the market. To start downloading and playing games in the Amazon Appstore on your Android, just follow the simple steps below.

Step 1:
Download the Amazon Appstore app from Google Play. Once it’s downloading, go to the Settings menu on your Android, then click on Security or on Applications. You’ll see an Unknown Sources option. Click on the box to check it off. Go to Notifications or Downloads and click on Install. You will need to sign in with your Amazon credentials.

Step 2
Make sure you have an accurate billing address listed in your 1-Click settings. Log into Amazon, then click on Manage Addresses and 1-Click Settings. You will need a correct billing address even if the game you’re downloading is free.

Step 3:
Open up the Amazon Appstore. Browse the store or search for the game you want to download.

Step 4:
Click on Buy Now, or Get Now if the game is free. Open the Amazon Appstore menu and click on My Apps. You’ll see the newly-acquired app beneath the Cloud tab.

Step 5:
If you’re having trouble opening the app through the Amazon Appstore menu, try opening up the Amazon app and then selecting the Apps & Games tab. You’ll need to have Android version 5.0 or above in order to use the Apps & Games tab.

Step 6:
Try clicking on the Refresh option if you still don’t see your app. Check your email for an order confirmation message. If you don’t see a message that corresponds to the app you downloaded, you need to download the app again.

Step 7:
Still unable to access your app? Check the amount of free space available on your Android. If you don’t have enough free space, you won’t be able to download the app until you remove some other apps or components from your phone.

Use the steps above to easily install a game from the Amazon Appstore onto your Android phone.
