How to Minimize Accidental Bing Search Clicks on Windows Phone

Windows Phones have some great features, but there's one annoying one that stands out: A Bing Search hardware button. Because it's part of the phone, you can't fully disable it. Luckily, we have some tips to help you prevent accidental Bing Searches on Windows Phone:

Steps:

1st Method:
This issue pops up a lot while playing games. If you want to get rid of this problem during playing games, watching videos or enjoying music, then you can add those to Kid’s Corner on your Windows Phone. The Bing search button doesn’t work while you are in the Kid’s Corner mode.

1. Go to ‘Settings’ from the app list or start screen on your Windows Phone

2. Then tap on 'Kid’s Corner'

3. Tap on ‘Next
4. To add items such as games, music, videos, or apps, just tap and select them.

5. Tap on ‘Done
6. And then tap on ‘Next
7. On the next page you will have a chance to set a lock screen password. Type in your chosen password, then tap on ‘Done.’

2nd Method:
1. Go to ‘Settings’ on your Windows Phone.
2. Tap on ‘Applications
3. Tap on ‘Search
4. Disable the option ‘Search from the lock screen
