Record an Audio Clip Using Facebook Messenger

Facebook Messenger has various sophisticated features, and recording and sending an audio clip from right within the app itself is one of them. With the help of this feature, you are no longer required to install any third-party voice recording app or use the phone’s built-in Voice Recorder program to record your voice, and then go through the lengthy process of attaching the recorded file to the Facebook contact’s inbox.

With Facebook Messenger’s built-in audio clip recording feature, you can record an audio clip and send the clip to friends instantaneously after the recording is done, without even tapping a single extra button or link.

Here’s how:

    ■Turn on your Android smartphone.
■Tap the menu icon to display the apps list.

■From the apps list, locate and tap the Messenger app icon.

■On the opened interface, tap the View Contacts button (button with the three horizontal bulleted lines).
■On the next interface, ensure that you are on the MESSENGER tab.
■Under the PEOPLE WITH MESSENGER list, tap to select the target user.

■Once the desired user is selected, tap the audio button (button with a microphone) located at the bottom.

■Tap and hold the Record button (button with a red circle) to start recording the voice clip.

■Once you are done recording, release the Record button, and the recorded clip will be sent to the target user automatically.
