Restore Sound in a Lumia Phone's Right Earphone

Some Windows Phone users are facing an issue in which sound won't come from the right earbud of the headphones that come in the box. If you're facing this issue, read below as we provide you tips to restore the sound:

Steps:
1. Checking the headphone jack - if you have this problem you should check your headphone jack If you find any type of debris inside the port or on the jack then carefully clear it. After clearing that you should try again to use the headphones.

2. Use third party music player instead of stock player- some of users have experienced this problem while using the stock music player, but didn’t face that problem while using other third party music apps.
3. Restart your phone – you can try restarting your phone.
a. Press and hold the power button until you see slide down to power off.
b. Then slide down and wait for the phone to be switched off.

c. After about 6 seconds press and hold the power button and wait till the phone restarts.
There’s another way to restart the phone. Here it is –
d. At first press and hold the power button and volume down button together about 10-15 seconds.

e. Until you feel a vibration don’t leave those button. When you feel the vibration leave pressing the buttons and your phone will restart itself.
4. Hard reset- if the problem still exists after doing a soft rest then you should do a hard reset. Again you should take a backup of your data before doing that.
a. Press and hold the Power & Volume down (-) buttons together until you feel a vibration (about 10–15 seconds).

b. Once you feel the vibration, instantly leave the power button and press and hold only the Volume down button until you see an exclamation (!) mark on the screen.
