Send a Targeted Update on LinkedIn

If you have created a company page on LinkedIn, sometimes it might be important for you to allow only a few people and not all the followers of the page to view a particular update that you post on your LinkedIn page.

In order to respect your privacy and your company’s norms, LinkedIn allows you to post targeted updates. With the help of the targeted updates, you can choose the audience to whom the targeted update should be visible. All other followers of the page will not be able to view the update whatsoever.

As a company’s page’s administrator, here is how you can send a targeted update:

    ■Log on to your computer.
    ■Open your favorite web browser.
■Type www.linkedin.com in the browser’s address bar and hit Enter.
■Once the site opens up, if you are not already logged in, provide your credentials in the available fields at the top-right corner.
■Click Sign In to sign-in to your LinkedIn account.
■On your profile’s Home page, hover mouse to the Account & Settings button from the top-right corner. (Icon with your profile picture.)
■From the displayed options, click Manage representing the Company Page category.
