Use iOS Photos in Other Apps

Besides viewing photos on your iOS device, you can also use the images in other apps that you may have installed on your iPhone. In this example, you may want to post photos from your phone to Facebook. You have to give third-party apps appropriate permissions to use access your photos.

The process described above is simple and straightforward. Here is how you can use the iOS photos in the other apps:

    ■Press the Sleep/Wake button to switch on your iPhone.
    ■Slide your finger to the right on the screen (screen saying slide to unlock) to unlock the device.

    ■From the Home screen, tap the desired app through which you wish to use your iOS photos. (E.g. Facebook in this demonstration.)

    ■Assuming that you want to upload a photo in the Facebook app, tap the Photo icon (icon with a camera) from the top of the News Feed interface.

    ■From the opened Camera Roll interface, locate and tap to select the desired picture that you wish to use.
    ■Once the image is selected, tap Done from the top-right corner.

    ■Finally, tap Post from the top-right corner to upload a selected picture from your iOS device to your Facebook profile.
