You get what you pay for. It will not be anywhere near a rift in terms of image quality/immersion, but it will be better than no vr whatsoever.

There's no way to know for sure whether or not Pascal will bottleneck because we basically know nothing about it. But it shouldn't bottleneck any current GPUs from what I've read. TB3 is really fast.

Have you monitored it in afterburner to be sure there's no downclocking or throttling?

Do you have any programs running in the back?

I got a 1.4 with a 270X so yes it is very odd that you're getting such a low score with a fury. You're sure there's no thermal throttling? You could try reverting back a driver update. I'll try to look further into the issue.

My bad, I've seen some laptops list 4GB versions of the 960M with GDDR3. And I assumed a Dell i5 laptop wouldn't have 4GB of GDDR5. But if it does, then yes go with that version depending on the cooling solutions each laptop offers. OP really should've just gave us the listings they found, and...

i7 Laptop. The processor might be a bit better, but more importantly the GPU uses GDDR5 as opposed to the Dell which uses GDDR3 but doubles the capacity to look more enticing, basically.
