FCC Investigating U.S. Ban of Unlocking Cell Phones

Three words people: Buy unlocked phones. I paid $400 for my Google Nexus phone last summer. It's been 9 months now and I've only paid $40/month for my phone. Sure I don't have unlimited internet but with WiFi everywhere this isn't really an issue.

All you fools need to buy an unlocked android phone (Samsung Galaxy Nexus). I bought mine for $400 retail and am currently running v4.1.2 (it just upgraded OTA). And let's not forget to mention my extravagant monthly bill of $30 for 1500 minutes and 30MB data (i use wifi).

Amazon is Selling All Verizon Droids for a Penny

Doubtful they'd let you downgrade after purchase. $15 x 24 months is about $360 dollars. You could spend $60 to get a Costco membership where you can get the phone for $100 and sign up for the $15 plan saving you $260 over 2 years.
