It doesn't open with the original adapter. I will update soon (maybe a few weeks) and bring back as much information if we get it through a professional. For the meantime, let's just hope for the best.

So does this mean my laptop is fine? This adapter works with the piano that it is connected to, though. I suspect it's severe battery drainage; this was the first time it had a drain. What are your thoughts? I appreciate the time and effort you did to help me. <3

I did a little research with polarity and looked onto the adapter itself - it's a Newstar NA-1000rs set to the positive sign and at 12 volts. So is the laptop still fine because the connection is positive? So sorry, not a professional :(
