    I bought a new one and nothing. No lights even come on to show charging. How can I tell if it's battery or motherboard?

    So I have a new Asus laptop and the puppy chewed the cord. After splicing it back together after a month it sparked and the laptop no longer charges. How can I trouble shoot what needs replacement? Thanks in advance
