yeah i changed the cmos battery before but when i disconnect and reconnect the MAIN battery my power button starts working not the cmos battery

thanks for your respond,i tried replacing battery when laptop is turned off,when i press power button right after placing the battery back my power button works flawlessly,but if i don't disconnect and reconnect battery my power button won't work,really weird!
