    Weight reduction hacks

    I have an old Asus laptop (u50vg) that weighs over 2.5kg. Other than replacing the drive to an SSD, has anyone got advice on how I might be able to make it lighter? I am comfortable with dismantling it so any advice you might have would be appreciated. Thanks.
