I am looking for a decent laptop for a good price, and my budget is around 700 - 800 maybe 900 but nothing more than that. It is for school use, so it has to be alive for more than 5 hours (mostly word processing or internet research), mustn't have a screen bigger than 14 inch and obviously...

I just want to check how long this laptop would last for a gaming purpose. SO, for how many years would it be able to handle games on a medium or high setting? And, how long would the battery last?

Exactly what the title says. It's more of a gaming purpose but I have to do school stuff as well so it can't be heavy. I guess laptops at this price range will handle most of my games (skyrim, cod black ops 2..) on a decent graphic setting. Hope that helps,thanks
