Yeah it was plugged in correctly to the front ports. While using the back ports neither the headphones or mic will work.

Even though the headphone part works, they are not listed in the playback or recording devices. I have speakers set to default and sound is coming through the headset.

As said in the title, my headset's mic will not work on my new computer. It is a ttesport cronos. It works perfectly on my laptop as well as my phone.
