    Yes I know that, but my fan is completely clean because I took all the dust out of it a while back, however it didn't resolve the over heating issue.

    Thanks for the suggestion, however I am really not than keen on opening up my laptop, I just want a software that cools down my computer. I have just turned it on and opened up tomsguide.com and it is already over heating, its to hot to even put on my lap. So I would like a solution as soon as...

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 currently running Windows vista. Lately my laptop has been over heating. I have tried almost everything. I have downloaded Speed Fan but it didn't detect any of my fans. So I am looking for another software that will allow control of my computers fan.
