I wouldn't go for the extended warranty it only costs you.

That is a very good laptop it's actually a bit overpowered for normal use but if you want a really snappy laptop I would really reccomend buying this laptop.

A haswell chip is much better for laptops cause it uses less power and also is a bit faster then the ivy bridge cpu's. So defenitly Haswell.
