I bought it brand new. I payed $40 dollars for it because I wanted an exact copy of the original. My laptop just eats batteries. ive replaced it more than once. they all stop working after about 4 hours

I just bought a new battery for my laptop because the other one stopped working. It was fine when I first put the battery in. I charged it to 100% but when I unplugged the charger the laptop powered off and I received a message when I rebooted. "Your battery has experienced permanent failure...
