    Laptop turns on/off repeatedly, doesn't display anything on screen

    I had the same problem with 2 laptops (Aspire 5520 and Satellite A205). Today I performed a reflow on both motherboards (How to Reflow a Laptop Motherboard), and both started up and are running fine now.
