    Laptop charger isnt working

    take the battery out and try running just on the charger, if that doesn't work you know it's the charger instead(or I guess the outlet is a possiblity but I doubt it) if so just replace the charger? If you have to mess with the cord something is wrong.

    yeah you should be fine to have it charging all of the time, newer batteries are made much better than older ones
