I move around a lot. Between planes and trains my feet are only resting during the hours between travel so a tower isn't really convenient, otherwise, I'd build my own. The one i do have at home runs a heavily modded Jedi knight academy, sims 2 and Star Wars republic commando :) and its 9 years...
