Would it make a difference if I bought a displayport cable and plugged that into my monitor? After a quick search in the internet there are lots of displayport to hdmi, displayport to vga. I could try and use that the problem is I dont own one myself and I shall have to buy the wire.

At this point im clueless. I tried playing around with my video card settings from the catalyst control center it didnt work unless I try to play with the contrast,temperature which makes it just look different :D. I would think that my gpu is dying from the drop but it outputs to the phone...
