I've looked up for the tv you have and it also has a dvi input if I am correct. You can get a HDMI to DVI adapter. I suggest you using dvi just because of the resolution it can provide. VGA can provide max 480p while dvi can 1080 and more

Man pc is better than laptop in every aspect.... Whoever told you that this computer can run titanfall then he deceived you. 400 $ for gaming laptop is too low. Buy a desktop computer and if you need help finding a good one to play your game post here so I or someone else help you with it
