    Polaris is not aiming towards beating the flag ship GPU's. Just wait and see even though one does not need to wait to know.

    Polaris is aimed towards the mainstream market so they can get some ground back. Their rx480 is priced at $199. Polaris is not aiming towards beating pascal's high end market. If Random Person has $2000 then he should go with pascal because that will be high end. Please the linus tech tips video...

    Thats very true, but since he wants the answer now my best guess is pascal will outperform polaris in the $2000 range.

    Nvidia, as always, will have the better performance. Now if the man has 2 grand let him get pascal.

    The polaris laptops would most likely be more budget friendly than Nvidias pascal laptops. So it depends on how much you are willing to pay for a laptop.

    They thats what i meant, they are no where near gaming performance although you can play games like league of legends and other low graphic intensive games.

    I dont believe AMD makes gaming laptops. Only Nvidia makes gaming laptops with dedicated GPU's.
