Windows 7 Logitech z506 surround sound issues

Try unplugging the center, rear and sub input cables from the system. The system is made to upmix a two channel (stereo) signal so that it uses all speakers. If you leave all the cables plugged in though, it thinks it's receiving a 5.1 channel signal, and you get the problem you've described...

    Headphone jack not working?

Headphones suddenly producing only 1 sound channel in both ears

What condition is the plug in (or the rest of the cable, for that matter)? I'm not sure about the garbled effect, but it could certainly lead to downmixed audio. Replacing the plug is a matter of buying a replacement plug (~$5), cutting off the old one, and soldering the new one on.

Connecting HTPC to Surround Sound System

I don't suppose the sound system has an HDMI input? It's really the best way to send digital audio at this time, in my opinion.

How to fix audio lag with LG Soundbar and TV

If i understand your post correctly, you have: Cable Box to TV via HDMI. Laptop to TV via Bluetooth (audio) and HDMI (video). Wii U connected to the TV via HDMI. XBOX 360 connected to the TV via composite. TV to soundbar via optical. Only the TV is connected to the soundbar. You have lag when...

My sony MHC RV 50 wont play burned mp3.Why? Any solution? please reply Thanks

According to the manual, the CD must be burned using "MP3 format that conforms to ISO9660 Level 1/Level 2 or Joliet." I use CDRTFE to burn CDs. It has a Joliet option that might work for you. http://cdrtfe.sourceforge.net/

    USB Soundcard Extension

USB extensions (passive ones at least) are generally not recommended, because they don't conform to the USB standard. You could completely replace the cable with a longer one (15 feet is the max for a passive cable, i believe). There would be no loss in quality. A 3.5mm analog extension would...

What should i expect with "Open" Headphones.

How much sound leaks out depends on the set, really. I've heard people say you can't use open headphones in a library. I find that hard to believe. I personally have a set, and a person sitting right next to me can't hear at all. I don't often crank up the volume, though, so it depends on how...

    Number Decals for control knobs

If the numbers are engraved into the metal (or plastic?) you could use Sugru. http://sugru.com/guides/how-to-replace-and-fix-worn-off-lettering-on-appliances-or-metal If you actually want decals i don't know what to suggest. You might find something on eBay, i suppose.

Asus G60 Low constant static in headphones.

Sounds like you have a grounding problem. I don't know how you can fix that, though. Does having the laptop plugged in or not have any effect?

integrated realtek audio not recognizing headphones/no sound

Oh. Right :P I don't suppose you have a USB audio device or HDMI device you could try with? It might narrow down the possibilities. And you've no doubt gone through the basic troubleshooting methods: Check the playback device settings: Volume, mute, etc. Restart the computer.

Is this a laptop? Do the built-in speakers work?
