Probably way late, but I would strongly recommend you avoid the Lenovo's Ideapad line. We bought a Y400p (predecessor of the y40) which failed and was replaced several times, all internal failures which led to no boot. Eventually it was upgraded to a y440p which didn't last 3 months before it...
