    I had I looked at and a chip had broke off the motherboard so gone through insurance and got a cheque to get a new better laptop Thanks for your help.

    I tripped and accidentally stepped on my laptop keyboard near the enter button now it won't load past the f2 setup screen and just keeps restarting also make a daaa da daaa da daaa da daaa da sound internally can anybody shed any light on how to resolve this or is it bin fodder.
