whenever i've used condenser mics, like with the blue snowball, it records in mono. By default, playing mono audio in stereo plays it in the left ear, at least as far as i've experienced.

hit windows key. Type "sound" go through your playback devices, right clicking each option and selecting "test" until you hear it from your speakers. Then, with that device selected, click "set default device"
