It is defenetly an overheating problem in the sound processor 100 % and it is a TOSHIBA designed flow . You should make some kind of passive cooling.

I have Toshiba L755-1MO PSK30E-04U006Y4 ... with Conexant Smartaudio HD , same audio problem . Sound just cut off randomly and turns back the same way as for everyone else . I can turn it back on eaven if i go to sound options and just switch from playback to recording tab not changing anything...
