The only way I can use the radio is via the remote, but I like the idea of taking the battery out while it's on. At least I will be able to see if it switches to FM on it's own during that time. Then I can replace the battery to turn the radio off. Thanks for that suggestion!

My old Bose radio automatically switches itself from AM to FM while I am listening to AM radio. I have changed the battery in the remote, and the problem persists. I have moved the remote 10 ft away from the radio and it still happens, though less often. SO ANNOYING!!! How can I make it stop...
