adding more to this im logged in safe mode wid networking as my laptop is rather slow in normal mode..(i see no sound in normal as well :/ do i switch to normal...it takes time for window 2 startup. n regarding the command u suggested...it says sf not recongnized....ny further suggestion

Laptop= Toshiba Satellite Audio driver = Conexant ,NVIDIA Computer>Manage>Device manager>Sound video n game controller> shows 4 drivers or so for NVIDIA HD i tried uninstalling conexant n reinstalled it frm toshiba website,but installation wizard shows n error saying ""no devices found for...
