I have an asus vivobook s550ca. When i plug my headset's red mic part into the combo jack it comes up as headphones and doesnt work. I bought star tech splitters :http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004SP0WAQ/ref=pe_385721_37038051_TE_3p_dp_1 (cable not adapter) but still only my headset's speakers...
