Technics speakers SB-A26, do they need a minimum wattage to work properly? I was thinking to disconnect the TV speakers and connect these directly to the tv speaker's wires, the tv is only rated at 10wats per channel.
Hey thanks for your input, unfortunately these tweeters are not those kinds, you can not get to it, I was able to pull out 2 out of the 3 by vacuum, only one does not want to pop out, I will live with it, sounds ok.

No don't have to use those speakers, but I always want to try my own way and speakers are free.
I also made a box with two 3way speakers to play USB mp3 that I use for indoor or outdoor and sounds great, again free speakers. The amp from China for $ 17 is the only cost, amp also has FM tuner...
Thank you for the feed back, that is what thought, what if I create a box in the drywall close to the original speaker box size but only the depth of the 2 x 6 wall, would that be reasonable ? maybe good enough to work?
If the receiver is good, the speakers are good, the wires are good and the speakers ohms are within the specs, the only thing left is make sure the receiver is set to speakers A and the wires are hooked up at Rear LR speakers output.
Does anyone know how to fix the center part of the tweeters, this is the little center bubble that should look nice and round but it's been pressed in some what but not broken. Is there a way to pop them out ? Does it make a difference in the sound if they are pushed in?
