It's not inherently difficult if know how to pull apart the laptop. Try this instead, go into the bios and reset to the default configuration. Also if you enter device manager, and disable and enable the battery controller and scan for new devices, good luck
So with my laptop since I also have a lenovo, have you checked the other supplementary applications supplied by lenovo. Those settings can interfere or override settings set within the windows power profile, good luck
Ah so I assumed these were used in the camera before, makes sense now. Nope, there's nothing you can do besides buy a higher end and/or newer camera that supports more memory. Good luck
Check device manager to see if the sound card recognized. You can also verify that the sound output is indeed directed out of the sound card in the sound mixer. If you MB supports optical then you can use the output from the MB (it does sound good since that's how I configured mine). Did you set...
It's never simple... but here is a tutorial that can help with that, good luck

98c is about 20 out of safe operating range for really any cpu, it could've been damaged. It's impossible to pinpoint one thing without opening the laptop
98 is way out of the range of normal operating temperatures, bad contact with heat sink, blocked vents or fans. No real way to know until you open it up, good luck
