It does hold a 64 gb sd card, I have it placed and it shows I have 59.62 GB of storage availble. It immediately accepted the sd card. One thing l wanted to mention, my tablet 4 7.0 was manufactered in februari 2015 and I did an software update.

Should I root the tablet to be able to set Micro sd card for downloading of apps, games and other files? And is it advisable to root the tablet, is it safe and nesesary? (I prefere not to mess with the device so as not to brick it)

How do I download apps (e.g. from Google Play), directly to sd card for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. And for downloading on Google Chrome and other browsers.
