    Sorry I didn't mean it impacts Performance - I meant you may have to turn down games settings to get high enough frame rates to make 144hz worth it.

    ^ exactly. Your 960m probably will not be consistently over 60fps, so not really worth it. :) get a good 60 hz monitor, more worth your money.

    It may be able to handle it, but settings may have to be turned down in games and such/it may not work well. I would take A nice 60hz monitor instead.
