Is the TV tuner driver for the video or the chipset driver? Chipset wouldn't work, last owner of this thing installed Window's 10 and when I looked it only supported up to Win 98.

It's an old alienware with D900TBAT-12 on the bottom. When I checked the Dell site the D900T, all that would match, was an XPS dell and no match at all. Can anyone help? There's no sound with the default microcrap drivers.

Ah I was just worried when I had Windows 7 stop working. Rebooted fine. Then I installed a game with gameguard and when GG tried to start up it and several other things running all stopped working.

I mean Avast is already installed. I am asking if any viruses out there can modify the installation somehow so that it can't be seen. I did a bootup scan with it as well as a full system scan.
