    Can't Decide Lenovo vs Asus

Couple weeks ago i decided to buy Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E431 14" display. Then end up with Asus K56CB instead (with the same price as Thinkpad Edge E431). Other than slightly better angle of view (15" vs 14"), i must say the weight isn't that much different. As far as google result shows, Lenovo...

    Can't Decide Lenovo vs Asus

Reliability-wise, go for Lenovo ONLY if you can get THINKPAD series. Otherwise, go for ASUS as they are built very well for quality and error-less. Other series of LENOVO (Other than Thinkpad) are pretty much in comparison to ACER/DELL quality. I, myself just purchased ASUS K56CB-XX262D...

What BRAND would you rather choose?

I mean, run for 24/7 because of seeding/downloading progress. btw, what's your laptop brand? I know laptops are able to run 24/7, but would they last more than 4 years in average? mostly would probably starting to cause some trouble after the second year of usage, and 3rd year would be dead.

What BRAND would you rather choose?

Not really a big gamer here but i wonder if Lenovo (ideapad & thinkpad) is able to run 24/7,.. maybe off for 30 minutes top/week without burning the hardware. my HP Probook got melt down due to unknown reason (my guess is overheat above 200'Celcius) after 2.5 years usage, i meant literally...

Which laptop's brands do you think easier to take apart?

As the subject explain, what brand (product line, series, etc) of 2013 laptop do you find the easiest to take apart to clean off the exhaust fan? I mean, not completely take apart the whole things, but just enough to reach the fan or whenever dust gather, reach CPU to apply new thermal paste...

Dell inspiron 15R (5537) or HP Envy 15?

How are they (HP & DELL) quality build & reliability for this year? I've read countless of complain regarding their laptops being easily broken & full of errors.

Seeking laptop recommendation - runs cool, excellent battery life, less than $1000

Another thing, no crap nVidia/ATI/AMD RADEON means less power consumption. and try to look for Intel Core with denotation U instead of M (for instance Intel Centrino/Pentium/i3/i5/i7-3xxxU)

Seeking laptop recommendation - runs cool, excellent battery life, less than $1000

If gaming isn't a big deal for you, and you're looking for less overheat problem, then try to choose laptop with integrated GPU (Intel HD Graphics). Based on my personal 6-wasted-laptops, all 6 were damaged badly due to series of overheating caused by so-famous nVidia/ATI/AMD graphics. The...

What BRAND would you rather choose?

Lenovo Thinkpad series, however, do not have 15 inch display. i think all of them are 14 inch (Thailand region) with quite expensive price. Sony has 15 inch but price does not match with their hardware. Toshiba, i don't see any 15 inch like ever. ASUS, their 15 inch has max 2 USB ports and no...

i Sent My Laptop TO Toshiba But...

It's probably due to product defects. Didn't you try it out before paying, like... 20-60 mins let the laptop run in front of shop manager.. until he shows the face of regretting advising you the product?

What BRAND would you rather choose?

Quality-wise, what 2013 notebook/ultrabook brand do you think would assure you "not to worry" about hardware errors within 2-3 years after purchases? For some reason, HP & DELL give more wider choices for notebook specs (sizes, colors, OS, etc) at reasonable prices and YET both of them were...
