Reliability-wise, go for Lenovo ONLY if you can get THINKPAD series. Otherwise, go for ASUS as they are built very well for quality and error-less. Other series of LENOVO (Other than Thinkpad) are pretty much in comparison to ACER/DELL quality. I, myself just purchased ASUS K56CB-XX262D...

I mean, run for 24/7 because of seeding/downloading progress. btw, what's your laptop brand? I know laptops are able to run 24/7, but would they last more than 4 years in average? mostly would probably starting to cause some trouble after the second year of usage, and 3rd year would be dead.

Not really a big gamer here but i wonder if Lenovo (ideapad & thinkpad) is able to run 24/7,.. maybe off for 30 minutes top/week without burning the hardware. my HP Probook got melt down due to unknown reason (my guess is overheat above 200'Celcius) after 2.5 years usage, i meant literally...

As the subject explain, what brand (product line, series, etc) of 2013 laptop do you find the easiest to take apart to clean off the exhaust fan? I mean, not completely take apart the whole things, but just enough to reach the fan or whenever dust gather, reach CPU to apply new thermal paste...

How are they (HP & DELL) quality build & reliability for this year? I've read countless of complain regarding their laptops being easily broken & full of errors.

Another thing, no crap nVidia/ATI/AMD RADEON means less power consumption. and try to look for Intel Core with denotation U instead of M (for instance Intel Centrino/Pentium/i3/i5/i7-3xxxU)

It's probably due to product defects. Didn't you try it out before paying, like... 20-60 mins let the laptop run in front of shop manager.. until he shows the face of regretting advising you the product?
