Virus? I never had any luck with laptops. Work keeps offering to "upgrade" me to a lap top. Anyways, if you have not changed anything, likely culprits would be a virus, or perhaps you are having a failure on your hard disk. It will hang for a while while it tries to access a part of the disk.
