Your problem is most likely that you are still running Windows XP. Very little software that you download will work for that OS. If you have to use that browser, update your OS at least to Windows 7, Windows 10 being preferable as it is the newest.

You cannot take a bootable hard drive from one system, plug it into another system, and attempt to boot from it. When a hard drive is made bootable, it is specific to the motherboard that it was installed on. Simply cloning the drive and attempting to boot from it in another system will not work.
