Its a problem with the USB dongle of the HyperX Headset. Its plain junk and needs to be returned. Other people report the same issue. The USB dongle doesnt respond on the USB ID call from the system, so Windows returns: Device Unknown.

Dudes, you need to start thinking before you post BS. If the HyperX Headset isnt identified (which is EXACTLY what is happening when USB fails) you cannot go to device manager or sound manager and choose it, as the system didnt get the ID response from the USB device. D'oh. Calling others n00bs...
