    MERGED QUESTION Question from aydoubleu97 : "White screen when switching on, everything else is dead." Looking for ideas or suggestions so I can fix my computer. I know I need a new battery but I am also thinking of getting a new hard drive to see if that solves part of the problem. Hopefully...

    Looking to hopefully find any ideas or suggestions so I can get my computer fixed. I know my battery is dead after my efforts today to fix the problem so I need to replace it. My other idea is to buy a new hard drive for my machine so with these two new items I am hoping it will boot up. .
