I was wondering what the specs of the alienware 15 4k screen was(like adobe rgb). Does anyone at least actually know what panel is being used(like the model #)? Note: This panel is NOT the same as alienware r1 as the r1 4k screen is glossy, but the new r2 4k screen is matte.

I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere so I am posting here. I would like to how far back the alienware 15's screen goes back. I would like to use my laptop in bed so this is very important to me. Any actual numbers (like in degrees/rad) would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is a case of power vs portability. Which is more important to you? If you want more power go with the gt72. If portability is more important then go with gs60.

Always go with the separate gpu if you want to play games at all. VERY few integrated gpus can game, and the hd420 certainly can't game well. The 940m is still the weakest gpu but 2x powerful than the intel. Also given the non- resource intensive games you are playing, the nvidia should work...

It would be very very hard to put in ram as the laptop is sealed off totally. It is unfortunate that razer only but 8 gigs the i7 u proccessor will probably not bottleneck the 970 in most games, but go with any higher gpu and it will bottleneck. If you are looking for more ram, the alienware 13...

Why don't you check out notebookcheck's website, just google "[laptop] notebookcheck" and they have almost every laptop. They also measure how good screens are including brightness and accuracy.

Probably not unless you have the knowledge of re-pasting a gpu that will fit on. but the msi 80 titan has upgradable gpu. If you are looking for an upgradable egpu, the alienware graphics amp is compatible with alienware 13/15/17 laptops and will be a cheaper option.

if you are looking for a dell gaming laptop, may I suggest an alienware? they are dell's gaming lineup, all of their laptops should handle gta 5 at least medium/high if not higher settings
