    I have an hcd hdz235 and a new direct tv cable box and im trying to get sound from the cable box to go through my surround sou

    I have a Sony hcd hdz235 DVD surround sound and I have a new DirecTV Genie cable box then I'm trying to run the sound to the surround sound and the video to the TV my surround sound only has an HDMI out and then it has the blue green yellow red white ports on it. Can any help
