I did some thing similar today. I took R472 out of circuit and tried to give pin 36 3.3v from external power source. But before I did, I remeasured pin 36 it's still had 19V. I didn't want to give it too much voltage. I also measured pin 18 of IT8518 and of course I had 19V. I think I have a...

I re-soldered the R472 resistor but got the same reading. I wonder why I get 19V instead of 3.3V pin 36.

So either way we should have 3.2V where we have 18.9V on pin 36 of the LCD connector.

It was just a guess looking at page 23, the power coming in from pin 21 is 3.3V and going to Pin 18 which leads to R472 resistor.

Yes you are right. So, if I'm reading the schematics correctly, the voltage to that resistor should 3.3V and 3.2V on pin 36. But the reading was 18.9V on pin 36.

Sorry. What I meant to say that I have ground and both sides if that resistor and have continuity through it.

Is R472 supposed to be grounded out according to the schematics?
