    Thanks for your info. I have connected the speakers to the amplifier and they work fine. I have no intention of cranking the volume to full as I get enough good quality sound at a reasonable level. Regards, Bill101

    Question JVC Amplifier / Speaker Compatibility.

    My concern is that the speakers are 30 watts per channel that went with an amplifier output of the same. My amplifier's output maximum is 55 watts per channel so I would not want to blow the speakers.

    Can I safely connect JVC MXKB2 speakers to a JVC MXGT88 amplifier?
